About Roxanne Wolmarans
Roxanne Wolmarans is a Clinical Psychologist known for her warm, compassionate approach and her ability to create a calm, safe, and welcoming space for clients of all ages. She brings clarity and clinical expertise to her work, ensuring that each person feels heard, valued, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
Roxanne works with individuals experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges, including anxiety, low mood, adjustment difficulties, ADHD, trauma, burnout, emotional regulation, and crisis recovery. Her therapeutic style is integrative and tailored to each client, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Play-Based techniques, and Person-Centred care.
She has broad experience working in both clinical and community settings across the UAE and South Africa, offering therapy, psychoeducational assessments, parental guidance, and professional consultation. Roxanne supports children, adolescents, adults, and families, and is committed to culturally sensitive, individualised care across the lifespan.
Roxanne also brings extensive experience supporting children in educational settings, having worked with students from FS1 to Year 13. She has led wellbeing and inclusion initiatives, provided in-school therapeutic interventions, and worked closely with parents and educators to strengthen the support around each child. Her work bridges home, school, and clinical environments to ensure holistic, child-centred care.
She holds a Bachelor of Psychology in Counselling from South Africa and completed her Master’s in Clinical Psychology at the United Arab Emirates University. She is fully licensed by the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai.
Roxanne sees therapy as a shared journey – not about changing the past, but understanding it and moving forward with strength. She walks alongside her clients with empathy and care, helping them feel empowered and supported at every step.
